Description
Noorachole Indications:
Adjunct therapy for the dispersal of stones in the common bile duct.
Increases biliary secretion.
Relieves spasm of the bile duct.
Enhances metabolic liver function &reducing biliary stasis.
By inhibiting HMGCOA reductase, endogenous cholesterol production is reduced, maintaining the bile above saturation level, assisting the dissolution of gallstones and preventing precipitation of further stones.
To be used in combination with low or medium dose of chenodeoxycholic acid to be used alone.
Combined therapy enables a reduced dose of it and therefore lower incidence of side effects.
DOSE:
ADULT: 1 capsule three times daily, taken before meals.
A dose of one capsule three times daily is recommended at the start of treatment.
CHILDREN 6-14 YEARS: 1 CAPSULE TWICE DAILY BEFORE MEALS
